From Another Zero

A bilingual space dedicated to the performing arts where English and Spanish come together to inspire, inform, and connect.

This has to do with the uneven practices that some theatres (not all of them, as there are always exceptions) have had throughout the ages, from targeting shows to quoting and using outlets. And, dear reader, truth be told, my husband scolded me for the said paragraph.

I had a lovely conversation with one of the Co-Founders of the San Diego Halloween Film Fest, and it was great to learn more about her artistry, the festival’s dynamic, and, of course, her other zeros. The interview is available on our YouTube channel, but I am including it here too, along with more information on the event.

The true story of Montano’s teenage dream of becoming a jockey. At just 14, he began training with unshakable determination. But the cold reality of height and weight requirements quickly turned his passion into a battle with his own body. A fight that ultimately became a health hazard.
